Indonesia Angkasa Civil Air Transport was formed early in 1970 with two Bristol Britannia 102s purchased from National Aero Leasing to operate “Hadj “ flights from Indonesia to Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. A single Vickers Vanguard was leased from Air Holdings Ltd as a back-up aircraft for the Britannias, but apparently few flights were operated. The Vanguard was returned to Air Holdings two months later.
