During the negotiations for the sale of Lockheed L-1011 TriStars to Air Canada ( for which Air Holdings Ltd held the sale rights ) it was agreed that Air Holdings would buy back seven Vickers Vanguards being withdrawn from the Air Canada fleet. This number was later increased to twelve. Air Holdings Ltd also handled the three Vanguards purchased by Aviaco Traders ( Lockheed ) Inc.
